Founded ten years ago, Dear Things has provided patterns to companies for publication in booklets and magazines, and has also been hired to develop unique articles for celebrity clientel.
Ira has been doing needlecrafts since she was 6 years old. Her first project was to embroider pillowcases. She then learned to crochet. She used this skill to create unique crochet dresses for her dolls. When she entered junior high school, her mother taught her to sew and knit. Ira has since continued to utilize and improve all these skills. She enjoys working with different design techniques to create garments for children and toddlers. When she is not working on consignment projects, she is creating garments to be given to charity. She believes that every mother deserves a special garment for her precious baby.
